During a major snowstorm like we’re expecting this weekend, it is essential to monitor the snowfall outside of your home because the buildup can create issues with your HVAC system.

To keep your HVAC system running safely and efficiently during a snowstorm, remember to:

1. Make sure that all vents leading to the outside of your home are clear of blockage to provide proper ventilation.
2. Make sure all outside equipment is cleaned off, and snow is shoveled away from around the unit.
3. Continue to check and clear snow or ice buildup around vents and outdoor units throughout the storm.
4. If your power goes out, sit tight, your HVAC system should automatically switch on when your power does. If your system does not turn back on, you can give us a call and we can try to walk you through some basic troubleshooting tips.

If you have power and are still without heat, call us at 860-314-1518. As long as our vehicles can safely travel the roads, we make every effort to service our warranty and contract customers ONLY with emergencies.

Just a reminder that if we do need to come out, please make sure your driveway is cleared and that there is a path to your home and any outdoor equipment that our technician needs to access.

Stay safe and warm this weekend and call if you need us – Your Comfort Is Our First Priority ALWAYS!
